Welcome to The Pantry Shop! These Terms and Conditions apply to all customers of our physical store, located within The Coves Estate in Hartbeespoort, as well as those making use of our local delivery service. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. About Us

  • The Pantry Shop is a physical store situated inside The Coves Estate, Hartbeespoort.
  • We supply a variety of grocery items including fresh produce, meat, eggs, dairy, non-perishable food, and household products.
  • We offer a local delivery service to residents in and around The Coves Estate.

2. Products and Availability

  • All products are subject to availability and may be substituted or removed at our discretion.
  • Perishable items such as fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, and milk must be stored according to instructions and used by the indicated expiry dates.
  • While we aim to provide accurate product descriptions and prices, errors may occasionally occur.

3. Orders and Payment

  • Orders can be placed through our order system (e.g. WhatsApp or Online).
  • Once you place an order, we will send a PayFast payment link.
    ❗ Please note: We do not accept EFT or cash payments.
  • Orders are only confirmed once payment has been received.

4. Delivery Policy

  • We deliver directly in and around The Coves Estate (including but not limited to The Coves itself).
  • A flat delivery fee of R20 applies to these areas.
    ❗ Please note: We do not use courier services for deliveries.
  • Deliveries are coordinated with you directly. Once your order is paid, we’ll confirm a suitable delivery time.
  • Estimated delivery times may vary depending on volume and availability.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Due to the nature of our products (especially perishables), returns are only accepted if the item is:
    • Incorrect,
    • Damaged on delivery, or
    • Spoiled upon receipt.
  • Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • We may request a photo and proof of the issue before offering a refund or replacement.

6. Liability

  • The Pantry Shop is not liable for:
    • Incorrect storage or handling after delivery,
    • Missed deliveries due to incorrect information,
    • Any indirect or consequential losses.

7. Privacy

  • Your personal information is collected solely for order fulfilment and communication.
  • We do not share your details with third parties unless necessary for delivery coordination.
